BREAST MILK DONATION
SERVICE DESCRIPTION:Provides a drop-off location for donated breastmilk. Donation is stored in a freezer at -21 degrees, then shipped to Columbus to be pasteurized and distributed.
HOW SERVICE IS PROVIDED:On site
ELIGIBILITY:Lactating individuals who want to donate breast milk. Donors must be screened and approved prior to donating.
SERVICE HOURS:Mon-Wed and Fri 8am-4pm; Thu 9am-4pm
FEES:No fees
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:Call for more information
HOW TO ACCESS:Screening required for donation. Call the Mothers’ Milk Bank at (614) 566-0630 to begin the process or email MilkBank@OhioHealth.com. to set up screening appointment. Participation requires screening with consent from individual's physician, blood work, and individual's health history.
