EVICTION MORATORIUM

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:Provides a moratorium on eviction until Oct. 3, 2021 for people that live in a county with a raised level of COVID-19 cases. This applies to renters that: have tried to get help through government programs, earn less than $99k (single) or $198K (file jointly) or were not required to report any income in 2020 or received a stimulus check. Also, individual has not been able to pay full amount owed due to loss of work or medical expenses. Also, have been making partial payments and eviction is likely to result in the individual (couple) becoming homeless.

SERVICE HOURS:Mon-Sun 24 hours

INTAKE PROCEDURE:Must fill out the form at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/communication/EvictionProtectDeclare_508.pdf and give it to your landlord. Suggest you keep a copy for yourself.

FEES:None
