SERVICE DESCRIPTION:Provides an evidence-based camping and mentoring program for children who have been exposed to family violence. The goal of Camp HOPE is to break generational cycles of abuse by providing campers with meaningful and challenging activities, providing them a safe adult to be their mentor, and tools to experience hope and healing. Strive to create an environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued.
SERVICE HOURS:Tue & Thu 8am-4pm
INTAKE PROCEDURE:Clients must fill out screening application and/or be referred.
FEES:None
ELIGIBILITY:Must have witnessed or been impacted by family violence. Camper and/or guardian must be receiving services at Palomar or a partnering agency. Must be between the ages of 7-17, nonviolent toward others, and in a stable living environment for 3-6 months.

SITE DESCRIPTION:Houses numerous organizations to provide necessary services and support for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, bullying, elder abuse and human trafficking. Clients are seen on a walk-in basis.
